Heart of Darkness
First of all ; I want to start with Conrad’ s hard of darkness to be honest I couldn’t understand what exactly does the writer give a message , maybe he doesn’t want to tell us a complete story instead he tells us the story of a journey and pilgrims but their journey’s destiration is either the forest or it is a journey to human soul, because there is a sentence on page is ‘’185’’ we penetrated , deeper and deeper into the heart of darkness , It was very quiet there ‘’ I think with this sentence the writer (Conrad) talks about spritüal journey. Secondly ; Lovecraft wrote ‘’ Deliliğin Dağlarında’’ in this story he tells us a journey to , but this time the aim of the journey is to discover some mountains and old civilizations , in this story Lovecraft describe the view with too many details at the same time it is very difficult to imagine this old civilization.
